56.1% of the world’s population has access to the Internet and its general activity, in just one minute a day, 4,497,420 Google searches, the downloading of 390,030 applications or the sending of 18,100,000 messages.

A study by Domo, a company responsible for connecting data with users for businesses, has shared its annual study ‘Data Never Sleeps 7.0′, which analyzes the data traffic that occurs on the Internet in one minute a day.

This study shows that the number of people connected to the Internet has increased by 9 percent compared to 2018, which means that 56.1 percent of the world’s population uses the Internet, or 4,390 million people.

Every day, in a single minute, 4,497,420 searches are performed on Google, 390,030 applications are downloaded, and 18,100,000 messages and 188,000,000 emails are sent. Love’ is published 23,211 times and Giphy serves 4,800,000 gifs.

With regard to social networks, 277,777 ‘Stories and 55,140 photos are published every minute on Instagram; and 511,200 ‘tweets’ are sent out on Twitter, and 92,340 publications on Tumblr. In addition, 4.5 million videos are viewed on YouTube, 1 million videos are viewed on Twitch and 231,840 calls are made on Skype.

On the other hand, on Netflix you see 694,444 hours of video, and on Tinder you slide 1,400,000 times between users. In addition, in Uber there are 9,772 tours and in Airbnb there are 1,389 reservations.
